Handwoven in Ethiopia from hand-spun cotton and finished with a Bogolan border from Mali, a Baoulé accent from Cote d'Ivoire, or indigo from Burkina Faso, the Biniam is a square Gabi light enough to wear as a scarf and large enough to throw over a chair.
Each piece is woven and finished by hand, so colour and weave vary slightly between them. Each accent is hand-cut from a longer length of cloth, so your border may be different than the one shown. That's the hand of the maker — and it's yours alone.
